Planets Transiting Our Sun

NASA has provided a variety of spectacular images and video of the June 05, 2012 Venus transit by our Sun.


The diameter of Venus (12,092 km) is about 115 times smaller than the Sun's diameter—a somewhat smaller scale series is humans, molecules, atoms, nucleons, and quark matter.
